To do the scorch marks; I take a small piece of tape and tear it into as round of a shape as I can. I then cut small snippets out of it. I spray the area with almond colored spray paint. I fold a piece of paper twice and make cuts radiating out from the corner as close together as I can. I then start back from the other direction. That gives me a stencil with some pretty shredded edges. I center that over the piece of tape and hit it with some gray primer. I then take flat black and try to spray around the outside edges of the stencil.

Looks good. How easy is it to move around? Can you see ok in it?

What is the logo/design on the robot's left knee cap? I've seen it before, but am curious what you think or where you got it. ;)

I did a Chaos symbol out of lightning bolts and stuck a skull in the middle. I looked for weeks for a symbol like that and couldn't find one; so I made my own.

Seriously?? You're kidding, right? :eek Holy smokes. Many many years ago, I painted up a bunch of Battletech mechs, and bought some application things (kinda like a sticker, but thinnner, and clear) to go on them. I think they were from a Warhammer set. As I don't have the figures around right now, and I don't know where the extra sticker-things are, I'm looking for an online picture. Those sticker-things are really tiny. You could probably fit two whole sheets of them in the palm of your hand. That's why I was surprised to see that exact logo, and at that size.

Very cool choice, though!

Well, I kinda found it... sorta. From an Ebay listing comes this picture. They belong to the Warhammer group known as Chaos Marines, and you can see that the decals have many chaos and skull variations (or maybe not - the sheets are only 3" long, maybe. They're tiny).
