I'm working on it--waiting to hear back from someone ;)

I've also started moving into a new apartment today, so please bear with me if I'm a little pokey :)

Hi guys, I just joined a few weeks ago and I am interested in the contest since it first came out.

OK, so I missed the contest again. (Actually, I forgot about it) but I need to ask a few things for next year's unless married life gatecrashes into my plans:

1) Can we sort of "plan" how the blaster will look like and then from June to September, execute the plan? Would that be cheating?

2) Will the contest entry be able to accept a "normal" video (Youtube) as in no fancy titles and background music, etc. to show how a blaster works especially when thye might have electronics in it?

3) What happens to the winning blasters? Can the winner keep it or it goes to a "museum"?

Welcome aboard!

As long as the blaster fits the entry requirements, how & when you build it is up to you. The main thing is that we require you to have a sign with the contest name in one of the entry pics--we really prefer this to be in the "before" pic (however, if you have 2 of the same base piece, you could always build one and then use the other for the "before" pic). You will also have to NOT show off the blaster anywhere else until after the contest.

We've had entries with video in the past, but we've always held off on posting them until after the contest so as to try and give everyone a more level playing field ;)

All of the blasters remain the property of the builders--some have kept them and others have sold them :)
